Why can't every day be a TS concert?

Updated: Apr 27

Can we ever get enough Taylor Swift? I don't think so. Like many of you, I have grown up with Taylor. I first fell in love with her when I was around three years old. She was country at the time, and while I may not have understood her lyrics, I could sing along and her songs made me happy. I went to my first Taylor Swift concert when I was three and she was everything in real life that I imagined. She was my like my cool babysitter or much older sister that I always wanted to be around. Fifteen years later, and nothing has changed.

So why do we love Taylor Swift so much? There are so many reasons but I think the one that sums it up most is how Taylor Swift loves and she wants to be loved; it's just that simple.

Of course she loves her family and friends but she loves and respects everyone the same. She loves her fans, her team, and everyone that tries to do good in this world. She doesn't act like she is better than anyone and for a celebrity that is rare. Taylor also opens up about her fears, insecurities, and her desire to be loved. She is not afraid to open her heart and she is not afraid to talk about the pain that comes from having her heart broken. Not only does that take courage but for a mega star like Taylor, she doesn't have to be vulnerable and let us in but she does. Which goes back to my first point, she loves people and feels a tremendous amount of responsibility to help make our world a happier place.

I had the opportunity to go to an Eras Tour show and the one universal feeling everyone displayed in her sold out shows was genuine happiness. It's the first time I have ever been to a concert and any large venue where everyone was so nice to each other. She has such a diverse following and yet we are all connected in way that only Taylor Swift can do.

If everyday could be a Taylor Swift concert, the world would be a happier place! Since we know that's not possible, the question is, "What can each of us do everyday to lift each other up?" For those of us at LivToBe, it's sharing some of our special moments with those around us. Each of our listings tells a story and we want to share that story with you!
